Connect your lifestyle with poverty

Since 2012, Cáritas, CEDIS, CONFER, Justicia y Paz, Manos Unidos y REDES we joined in the initiative “Connect for Justice” seeking to raise awareness in the society with the same voice about the causes and consequences of poverty. As a result of this common effort, our campaign “if you take care of the planet, you fight poverty” (2016-18) continues promoting, now in a second stage (2018-2020), the values and principles of the encyclical Laudato Si’ from Pope Francis around the care of Creation, and the current development model, highlighting the connections between our life habits and the environmental and social deterioration, especially its impact on the lives of the most impoverished communities.
